47. Say I Love You This Holiday Season With Cash and Credit?

I was listening to the news today and they were saying that according to the National Retail Federation, the average person will spend upwards of $900 in gifts this holiday season. When they interviewed some shopper they were told that the numbers were way off because they had already spent between $1500 and $3000. INSANE

Now a few weeks ago I heard on the news that many people suffer from post holiday depression, and one of the main causes is the debt that was incurred by buying all the presents and the family stress from arguing over the new debt.

Why does a Play Station 3 or  Nintendo Wii, say “You’re special”?

Why does an $800 LCD screen say “I Love You”?

Where in the rule book does it say that you have to spend anything on the holidays?

The answer is retailers of the world have told you that if you love someone you will say it with lots of expensive things, “say I love you with diamonds”. I wont go into this aspect right now, but if you think about it, you’ll see the truth.

So here are two options for dealing with the holiday gift giving.

Gifts For The Holidays. Small, Meaningful And Personal.

Gifts For The Holidays. Going All Our. Dealing With The Aftershock.
