It’s A Shame That I Have To Charge For This

A better life, Your Best Self 2 Comments »

In the past few months I have been going through a coaching process to build and define my coaching practice. In this process I have had to spend time doing assessments and sending out surveys. I have also had to spend a significant amount of time processing much of the information that has been gathered and doing some deep reflecting in order to move forward.

One of the projects though incredibly simple in design and implementation was by far the most beneficial.  It took me to a new level of self awareness and was a catalyst in launching me forward towards my personal and professional success.

Now the frustrating thing is, that I can’t tell you about this powerful  process in this post.

It’s not because it’s top secret or copyrighted.

It’s because if I tell you about it YOU WON’T DO IT.

“Rob. What are you talking about if you know of something that is going to improve my life an business, of course I will do it.”

Though you might be one of the few that would do it, the vast majority wont. In fact I am paying over $3000 for the full coaching process and when the task was given to me I didn’t even want to do it.  The only reason I did do it was because I was paying for a process and I wasn’t going to flush my hard earned money down the toilette.

Even after the fact, knowing how powerful this idea is, I still would not do it unless I was paying for it.

So the reality is if you want to know about this you are going to have to pay for it.

If you want to do something that is going to rocket you forward in your personal and professional life then you will have to contact me for more details.

You have my personal guarantee that if it doesn’t change your life you will get your money back, but you will have to commit to completing the full task.

The Journey Of 1000 Miles Begins With One Step.

Have you ever had that moment, where you suddenly decide you are ready for change?

It might be that point of deepest frustration, where you will no longer tolerate the state that you are in, or it might be when you are at a high point in your life and you decide that you just want to go for more.

Next thing you know you are visualising the realization of your goal where you are (put in your own vision here) and you are ready to succeed.

Day 1

All out effort towards the realization your goal, you are not just accomplishing the goal, you ARE the goal

Day 2

Day gets of two a bad start. Half way through the day you remember your goal and put a little effort in.

Day 3

The day was more than stressful. You go to bed at the days end, and just as you are nodding off you remember about your goal.

As you drift off to sleep your goal joins the other goals that have come before it. It becomes just another dream.

You had such great intentions.  What went wrong?

The proverb goes “The journey of 1000 miles begins with one step”.

Why one step?

Why not say “The journey of 1000 miles takes 5,280,000. Get moving” ??

Because you would try to cover as many steps in that first day that by the end of that day you would be exhausted, and after three days of pushing yourself really hard you would give up.

As important as it is to envision the success of your goal, it is equally important to plan the steps to get there.

Once you know what your goal is and you have planed the process to achieve that goal, then you begin to only focus on the process “the one step”.

And as those steps add up you start to do them subconsciously, they become habits.

One easy step at a time, and before you know it you will have reached your goal.

If I would ask you if you can walk 1000 miles you might reflexively think it quite unlikely. Interestingly though, the average person takes 4000-6000 steps a day. Which means that in the past 3-4 years you walked 1000miles.

You didn’t even realize it, but you did it ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Have you ever felt like you just can’t get in gear?

Ecstasy. Pain. Transcendence.

A better life No Comments »

Recently I was reading a book by Dr. R. Tatz, a deep mystical thinker.

He was discussing the idea of a three stage creative process.

The first stage is the stage of infinite possibility, also referred to as ecstasy. In this stage there is no limit to what can be done, space and time are meaningless, there is only perfection.

The second is the stage of the finite, it has elements of effort, work and pain. This is the stage of structure and limitation, you are bound by time and space.

The final stage is that of Transcendence. This is almost a paradoxical stage because it is a combination of the first two stages.
Dr. R. Tatz, uses the analogy of the conception and birth of a child. The infinite represented by man, contributes and Read the rest of this entry »
