[...] Fellow blogger Rob Schaumer, who found this site like many of you through the Problogger contest, decided a few months ago to start podcasting. His first topic? This very site. Not only did he sing the Cal Drinking Song for me, but he actually pronounced my name correctly. Rob, you totally made my day. [...]

OK, so it's been, like, three months since you did this and I just now crawled out of my hole to see and comment on it.

First off, I am honored to have been the topic of your first podcast. Totally, totally sweet. I'll be checking out your other work here right after I'm done typing.

Second, thank you for the kind words. I haven't been as good at keeping up the brew blog as I'd like (though I, too, amd in the process of uploading my first podcast as wek speak on the topic of yeast starters. Fascinating...) but your podcast is inspiration enough to make me do a better job at that.

Third, what is Mill St. beer and how do I get it in my neck of the woods (San Francisco Bay Area)?

Fourth and, perhaps most important, I KNOW THAT SONG! I spent five years (!) at UC Berkeley and that, my friend, is the Cal Drinking Song. Was that camp, perchance, the Lair of the Golden Bear?

You totally made my day. Thank you so much!
